Doors open at 7:30pm. An exhilarating and entertaining evening begins.

As befits Auckland’s premier social event we will be serving French Champagne from Veuve Clicquot as you enter the Town Hall to the tunes of our musical quartet. Throughout the evening you can help yourself to fine wines beers and soft drinks.

We have teamed up with premier chefs to design a menu using the finest and freshest canapés to showcase New Zealand’s finest cuisine. Waiters will circulate with a selection of food for the whole evening as part of the price of entry.

8:30pm

Our guests of honour enter and are seated. It’s your opportunity to witness the world famous opening ceremony.  10 couples dance to the Orchestra in precision. You witness the centuries old ceremony that sets the tone for the night. Ceremonial but not stuffy – it’s about celebrating the night. Additional world class acts follow to set the atmosphere for the evening.

9.00pm

The Dance master then announces “Alles Walzer” inviting anyone who wants to dance to join in.

The night now moves into full swing- catch up with friends, dance, eat drink, watch the dancers, circulate between the 2 halls and watch our world class acts– it’s your choice.

12:00 Midnight

It’s time for the Quadrille – the Dance Master gets all who want to into the room and calls out some simple moves. Think line-dancing set to Johann Strauss! We dare you not to laugh out loud and have fun.

After this we guarantee you’ll need a rest and we will provide the entertainment while you catch your breath and have a drink or a coffee.

As you do prepare to witness the peerless dancing skills of Aaron Gilmore – a previous winner of “Dancing with Stars”. This will be followed by individual acts that will take your breath away.

For those still with the energy dance the rest of the night away to one of our wonderful bands or discos.
